We were joined by our first German Spitz (Mittel) in Feb '00, after being interested in them for a few years. I also wanted to return to having a dog I could handle myself in the show ring! China is by Ch Runfold Northern Lights, out of Wyndlee Snow 'n' Ice From Runfold. She was born on 17th November '99, and has been an excellent introduction for us to this lovely breed, with many wins to her credit including CC's from our club show (twice) and Crufts.
She has also proven herself to be a fantastic house-dog and is brilliant with the kids, an essential quality in all of our dogs.
Our first German Spitz, she produced her first litter on the 3rd of October 2002 and from a total of only 3 litters/11 puppies she has so far produced 3 UK champions and another CC winner plus CAC winners in Finland and Norway. Her grand children are also doing well with Champions in the UK, Ireland and Europe plus CC, RCC & BPIB winners.
