I was a replacement judge for this breed so thank you to the sporting exhibitors who braved the awful weather to show their dogs.
GSDs

Junior (2)
1st Corkin's Fouranfass Night Knight.
8 months old large, strong, alert very dark B&G male with a good masculine head and expression. Good neck flowing into correct topline and tailset, nicely angulated both front and rear, and finished off with good bone, straight legs and good feet. Still very much the inexperienced baby on the move but showed sound movement all ways once he settled. BPIB and pleased to see him go Puppy Group 3.
2nd McSherry & Heskin's Wolfline Bewitched.
15 month richly coloured B&G bitch, feminine girl who moved well, unfortunately carrying too much weight and not happy to be gone over today.

Graduate (4, 2abs)
1st Buckley's Fouranfass Mekasa.
20 months old B&G bitch. Very feminine head and expression, good topline, croup and tailset and another with good angulation. Her movement was close and a touch untidy going away but sound coming and when gaiting she has a tendency to amble, but once she settled into her stride showed a very good side gait which just gave her the edge over a very nice puppy for BOB.
2nd McSherry & Heskin's Wolfline Bewitched.

Open (2, 1abs)
1st Buckley's Fouranfass Mad Max.
20 months black & rich gold litter brother to the previous class winner. Strong masculine head, good neck and topline, good hindquarters but slightly steep front. Slightly close away but otherwise sound movement. As with the previous class winners, another with good temperament but he'd lost interest by the challenge.
