I had so many lovely dogs to go over so thank you for your entries.
Av Utility Import Reg Open (1 Entry)
1st Williams’ Fr Ch. Morningcalm Cool As Ice (Korean Jindo) B Imp.
Nearly 4 y/o White B. Typical feminine head, good neck, correct outline and well carried tail. Balanced angles, good legs and feet though has a tendency to stand a little 10 to 2. OK on the move in all directions but just lacked a little enthusiasm today.
Dalmatian Post Graduate (8, 3 Abs)
1st Pearson’s Kelevra Dill Or No Dill BPIB & PG1
7m D. Attractive head and expression, correct neck, body developing nicely for his age, good outline and proportions and correct tailset. Presents a balanced picture, and his correct angulation and strong legs and tight feet allow him to display an excellent powerful gait which won him this class and BPIG.
2nd Wallington’s Ailsadot Astral Lyra
21m B. Another attractive and typey youngster and she was presented in excellent firm condition. Pretty feminine head, correct neck, firm topline and correct tailset. Pleasing outline and proportions and has good depth of chest. Well-angulated both ends, nicely boned yet retains elegance. Correct tight feet. Also moved very well but just didn’t quite match the side gait of 1.
3rd Vockings’ Bellehoud Tipple At Portunes NAF
Dalmatian Open (7, 4 abs)
1st Marley & Libbey’s Bellili’s D’Amore De Loin SHCM SHCEX BOB & G3
7y/o D of excellent type and balance and shown in firm fit condition. Attractive masculine head with the darkest of eyes, nicely arched neck, good depth of chest and correct tuck up. Well laid shoulders and balanced rear, strong legs and correct feet. Clean movement away and back and a very powerful far reaching side gait.
2nd Vockings’ Bellehoud Tipple At Portunes NAF
17m liver spotted B. Undoubtedly feminine and a little lighter built all through. Typical head, correct neck, topline and tailset. Still some maturing in body to do. Moved OK but not quite the drive of those placed in front of her.
3rd Smith’s Doddledally Gingham Gal
Boston Terrier Open (5, 1 abs)
1st Roulston’s Ivyjewel Dare To Dream BOB, BPIB & PG4
8m D with a strong masculine head, dark eyes and well carried ears. Good neck, compact, balanced proportions and presents a typical outline. Still a little loose in front movement but has time on his side to tighten up. OK in rear.
2nd Roulston’s Kenxtwen Beauty Bluebell
2y/o B and no mistaking her for a male. Typical head, neck and correct outline, nicely balanced angulation and good legs and feet. Moved OK but just lacked a little of the gusto of 1.
3rd Bospeltz Earth Angel
Shih Tzu Open (2)
1st Casentieri’s Alchez Return To The Sea BOB
7y/o smaller and finely built gold & white B. Feminine head with dark eyes and typical expression. Good neck, correct body and level topline with a correctly carried high set tail to complete the picture. Balanced angulation and strong legs and feet resulted in a smooth gait with excellent reach and drive.
2nd Stevenson’s Bishopspark Holly
2y/o gold & white B presented in good coat and condition. Typical feminine head, correct neck and well made body with correct tail set. Good legs and feet. Lack of experience meant she didn’t show to her best ability on the move so made it difficult to assess but there were a few strides that showed potential so just needs a bit more practice.
Tibetan Terrier Junior (4)
1st Cooper & Purslow’s Bheehind Closed Doors BPIB & PG3
11m gold sable D. Attractive young male with a correct head, good neck, typical outline and correct tailset and carriage and his body is developing nicely under the coat. Well laid shoulders and balanced rear, strong legs and correct feet. Shows very good reach and drive on the move.
2nd Maxwell’s Routenburn Aradia
11m gold & white B. Another promising youngster with much to like and many similar comments apply, she just didn’t quite match the drive of 1 in side gait today.
3rd Norman & Wilson’s Made Of Rum
Tibetan Terrier Graduate (1)
1st Cooper & Purslow’s Bhring Me Sunshine
11m gold sable litter sister to previous class winner and very similar in type. Also correct in head, neck, legs, body and feet but not quite the tailset or temperament of her litter brother and she’s still a little unsure of things. Moved OK.
Tibetan Terrier Open
1st Cooper & Purslow’s Ahgainst All Odds BOB & G2
19m black and tan D. Excellent type with a correct masculine head and presents a picture of a correct outline and balanced proportions. Strong muscular neck, firm level topline and enough spring of rib with correct depth of brisket. Well set and carried tail, correct balanced angulation and he’s well muscled resulting in excellent driving movement from all directions.
2nd Nixon’s Roymarlas Majestic Star
9y/o gold very feminine B of good type enjoying her day out. Still in good bodily condition and moved very well for her age

Schipperke Open (4, 1 abs)
1st Maclellan & Hood’s Revloch Fire At Will BOB & G4
4y/o masculine cobby little black D presented in excellent firm condition. Well-balanced head with pleasing dark eyes and well-set ears. Short enough strong neck, correct body proportions with short strong back and the desired depth of brisket. OK for angulation, strong legs and neat feet. His well carried tail and correct coat with full mane completes the picture of a typical outline. Correct brisk movement in all directions.
2nd Collier’s Ch Stoneyburn Banna
7y/o black D. Another of lovely type and who shows no signs of aging. Typical masculine head, good neck and correct balanced outline and proportions with a correct tailset and carriage. Strong straight legs and neat correct feet. I did prefer his pasterns but didn’t quite match 1 on the move in side gait but still a quality dog.
3rd Reed & Reed’s Stoneyburn Maia
Lhasa Apso Junior (3, 2 abs)
1st Schuckardt’s Kutani Black Opal At Frenchlands
Quite typical feminine head with correct expression and attitude from this almost 18m black with white markings B who is maturing nicely. Everything is as you’d hope to find under that well presented quality coat from her strong well arched neck, sturdy well balanced body, firm level topline, well laid shoulders, balanced rear and well set and carried tail, all set on strong legs and correct catlike feet. Moved really well and I thought she may have ended up as my BOB but in the challenge was just not quite as focused or settled as the open winner so didn’t quite match his free movement.
Lhasa Apso Graduate (1, 1 abs)
Lhasa Apso Open (3, 1 abs)
1st Maxwell & Chalmers’ Dimara Cheeky Charlie For Aintshe BOB & G1
Almost 6y/o D of lovely type presented in lovely coat and well-muscled condition. Another one who was a pleasure to go over with an attractive head and the typical aloofness peering out from under the furnishings. Correct neck, good forechest, firm level topline, good ribbing and short strong loin. Correct high set and well carried tail. Balanced angulation and correct legs and feet so it was no surprise that he displayed such free movement and covered the ground with ease while retaining his balanced outline.
2nd Schuckardt’s Elmichapel Walk In My Shoes At Frenchlands JW
4y/o B with a pretty, feminine head and almost cheeky expression. Good neck, firm body with level topline and enough ribbing and forechest. Balanced angulation and she moves well but just preferred the outline and finish of 1.

Typical free and positive movement. Will be interesting to see how she matures.
2nd Gilling’s Princess Mulan Ilharess of Talocan (Imp Pol) NAF TAF
13m gold B. Quite the happy showgirl and another of typical outline with well carried tail, balance angles and good legs and feet. Dark eyes and correct ears but not the balance in head as 1 and although her side gait was good she was just a little close going away
3rd Gilling’s Kentwone Hugs And Kisses Of Talocan
Tibetan Spaniel Open (5, 2 abs)
1st Gilling’s Princess Mulan Ilharess of Talocan (Imp Pol) NAF TAF
2nd Abercrombie’s Ravenways Don’t Let Go For Tibwood
4y/o gold B. Looking a little long in outline and not helped by her lack of coat furnishings so not quite the balance of those placed in front of her. Ok for head, typical dark eyes, correct ears and strong shortish neck into firm level topline and a well set and carried tail. On the move she was a little narrow going away but side gait and coming back were both OK.
3rd Gilling’s Kentwone Epsilon Of Talocan
AVNSC Utility Puppy (3, 2 abs)
1st Smith’s Afterglow Rum Truffle (Toy Poodle) BAVNSC Puppy & PG2
9.5m brown B. Quite charming youngster with an attractive feminine head and expression and very good eye colour and pigment for her colouring. Good length of neck, body developing nicely. Ok for angulation with straight legs and neat feet. Lovely side gait with powerful driving rear, just needs to firm up a little more in front movement
AVNSC Utility Post Graduate (1)
1st Knipe’s Rahima Im Seren At Xenora (Japanese Shiba Inu)
3y/o red B shown in good coat and condition. Wedge shaped head with dark obliquely set eyes, ears could be a little neater. Good neck, firm body and well set tail. Enough angulation, straight strong legs and neat catlike feet. Moved slightly close away but ok in side gait and coming back.
AVNSC Utility Open (4, 2 abs)
1st Roulston’s The Real Deal TAF (Min Poodle) BAVNSC
4y/o liver pigmented apricot D. Masculine well-carried head with an alert happy expression, correct eyes that are dark enough for his liver pigment and well set ears. Good neck, short strong back and deep enough chest, well-set and carried tail and correct leg length provide a typical outline. Correct away and back and his side gait shows good drive but would like just a little more forward reach.
2nd Smith’s Gently Born Hohloma (Imp Rus) (Toy Poodle)
16m silver D. Most appealing balanced head with super expression, attractive dark eyes and correct ears. Good neck, correct body, tailset and rear. Unfortunately, very loose in front assembly and this shows not only in stance but is emphasised on the move. Rear movement was good though.
